Booking questions

How booking works

What happens after I send this form?

Steve reads it and comes back to you within 24 hours — usually the same day — with available dates, the price for your group, and anything you need to sort out beforehand. For bowfishing that is nothing at all; for a hunt it is your licence and stamps, and he will tell you exactly which ones. Nothing is charged until you have confirmed you want the date.

How do deposits work?

A deposit holds your date, with the balance settled on the day. Online deposit payment is being added to this site shortly; for now Steve will walk you through it when he confirms your booking.

How far ahead should I book?

For bowfishing, a few weeks is usually enough outside of peak weekends. For waterfowl, the good dates in the back half of the season go early — if you are thinking about December or January, get in touch well before the season opens.

What if I need to cancel or move a date?

Talk to us as early as you can and we will do our best to move you rather than lose you. Cancellation terms are confirmed in writing when you book so there are no surprises either way.

Do you run trips for one person?

Yes, though a solo booking is priced as a private charter since the boat is yours for the trip. If you are happy to be paired with another small booking, say so and we will keep an eye out.

Can you handle a group bigger than six?

Often, by splitting across two departures or two days. Send your numbers through the form and we will tell you honestly what is workable.
